Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik could be on his way to League One’s Charlton Athletic according to the latest media reports in England.

Bielik has not quite broken through at Arsenal since joining from Polish side Legia Warsaw back in 2015 and a loan deal looks like being his best chance for regular playing time.

The 20-year-old defender has already been loaned out to both Birmingham City and Walsall and another loan spell looks to be on the cards.

If Bielik does join Charlton on loan he will follow in the footsteps of Francis Coquelin and Stephy Mavididi who also spent time at the Valley.

Right now the future for the youngster at the Emirates looks bleak but there is a long list of players at other clubs that have spent a long time away on loan and returned to their club the better for it and even gone on the reach the highest levels, so this does not mean it is the end of his Arsenal career.

The onus is now on Bielik to impress at Charlton or whatever club he ends up joining on loan, if he does then there is every chance he can still remain a Gunner for many years to come.
